To Phil Hanson's Family..... I was a High School classmate at Concordia Milwaukee and pursued other areas of study following that. I want to offer my deepest sympathy on the loss of Phil. It was great to see him and many others at the 50th Concordia reunion. I have many fond memories of the 24/7 life our classmates shared together during HS. My son lives in Sycamore also, as does one of yours. Sincerely, Roger Brauer [email protected] R

So sad to hear of Phil`s passing. I got to know Phil real well during our Secunda year in the apartment at Concordia Milwaukee. Phil, Mark Pflug, Hank Goetz, Roger Brauer, Al Klug, and I shared a third floor apartment that year. Lots of fond memories. Mary and I would like to extend our sincere condolences to you, Jackie, and your family. May the Lord sustain and lift you up during this time of grieving. Our time will come when we will all join him again. God bless.

So sorry to hear of Phil's passing. I was also classmate for all six years at Concordia, Milwaukee. We entered there as boys and left as young men - as close as many brothers. It was indeed a gift to enjoy seeing each other at the reunion in Mequon and reliving those days from years past. We know that Phil is with the Lord, where we will see and be with him in eternity. Job 19: 25-27 is certainly appropriate. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Pat and I send special condolences to Jackie. Dean

Sorry to hear of Phil's passing. I was a classmate of his for six years at Concordia in Milwaukee. It was a joy getting reacquainted with him at our reunion at the Mequon campus in 2010. It is always sad when one passes from this life but fortunately we can look forward to a joyous reunion in heaven. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord." Revelation 14:13

Phil radiated the true grace of the Lord through his work. God gave him the gift of Love and Compassion and Phil used these tools to stretch out the Lords arms to reach people near and far. He had a lovely sense of humor, ready to make you smile and laugh at every turn. I will miss him, but I am so very thankful that he is Home.
