I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your mother did a special favor for me when I was hosting a meeting a number of years ago. I needed several dozen doughnuts early on a Saturday morning. She was so gracious and said they would be ready before the orchard opened. I have never forgotten that and also the many trips I took with frist graders to tour the orchard.

Just happen to stumble upon Betty's obituary. So sorry to hear of this loss. I know that the Edwards family has been so kind and loving to the Shook family thru the years. Especially over the past few with mom and dad's deaths. Praying for the family during your time of grief.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your sweet mother! Somehow we missed it in the paper or we would have come to see you all. Your family has been a "part" of our family for years and still a visit to "The Apple Orchard" is a family tradition every Thanksgiving when all six of our girls and their families come home! We love you all and send our sympathy to you from TN, KY, MN and here in Belvidere!
