Rebekah Parker

Obituary

On Saturday, October 3, 2020, Rebekah (Dennis) Parker, loving wife and mother of three, step mother of two, passed away in Rockford, IL, at the age of 37. Rebekah was born on September 28, 1983 in Middletown, NJ to Marianne (Dennis) Hill. On July 20, 2012, she married Chris Parker, and they blended their family.

Her fur babies are American pit bull terriers Kaos and Sumo. Rebekah was an avid country music fan. The a cappella group Home Free was one of her favorite bands. Rebekah’s favorite quote was “The song may have ended, but the melody lingers on.”

In addition to her husband, Rebekah is survived by her children, Jessica, Justin, Judith, Isaiah, and Evan; mother and stepfather, Marianne and Dave Hill; sister, Heidi Zapp; brother, David Zapp; Josh and Karen Raymond (Rebekah’s first husband, and his mother); and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Josie Dennis.

Dear sweet Rebekah, rest in eternal peace. You will always be that little sweetie pie standing on the kitchen counter at my Mom’s house in Jersey. Just too cute. Watch over your children & family. My deepest sympathy to your family. Until we all meet again in God’s Kingdom.

Rebekah, I’m still trying to wrap my head around your being gone. It’s been right at a week and I’m still finding it hard to talk about you with anyone without crying.
I know you’re with Jesus now and at peace.
You’re so very loved and sorely missed by everyone who has haf the pleasure of you in their lives.
I love you. You’ve been like one of my own. God’s continued Blessings on you and your family.
