So sorry to hear Donny passed away. He did have a good and caring heart of gold. Donny always was very friendly and excited to see me. He had a great memory and loved his music collection. It made him so happy to show it off! I had the opportunity to see his very impressive music collection a couple times when I picked him up to give him a ride to work as a helper for Trees and All. Rest in Peace Donny❤

So sad to hear about Donnie’s passing. I didn’t grow up in Belvidere, but I knew Donnie. He had away of getting around town. He visited our church often, attended our Family fun nights regularly. My husband would pick him up on the church van. He liked to socialize. He always shook my hand. He loved his record collection and it gave him much joy. He could & would quote many bible verses. He loved God, singing and worshiping. My most touching memory of Donnie was during one of our church services. I was suffering in a lot of pain physically that morning unknown to him. In my heart I asked God to please let someone come back and pray for me because I was to weak to go up front for prayer. Donnie came back to me and laid his hands on my hands and spoke the most precious words, so sincere, so gentle. After a couple of minutes he stopped ,looked at me and said” I just felt like God wanted me to pray for you today.” He went back to his seat unnoticed. I will always remember his prayer asking God to bless me! I thanked Donnie then for his prayer through my tears. I want to be sensitive to God like Donnie. I pray for all of your family at your time of loss. Donnie prayed for my pain…I will never forget him! May God ease your pain at this time. God bless you & comfort you always! Sincerely, Kim McGee
