Zeta and I enjoyed a close sister-in-law relationship, since we married the 2 youngest Ashens sons. Zeta and Oscar, and Frank and I spent numerous vacations together in Belvidere or in the beautiful Ozarks around Aurora and Cassville., Mo. She will be missed. With Love and Sympathy. Hazel Ashens

Jimmy and Tommy, it's sad to lose a parent, but you'll have all those memories to comfort you. Your Mom kept me updated at Christmastime for many years after Tony was killed. I always felt like family. Love to all your family. Wish I could be there. Pat & Jerry Jones.

I have very fond memories of Zeta. I have had the pleasure of knowing her for over 35 year. While being her friend and her hair dresser, we shared many stories of family and other friends. She shared all kinds of patterns with me, sewing and crocheting. She often brought me special treats, and the receipe, she had baked or canned. I would pick her up after work, bring her to my house to do her hair, and then take her back home for tea and cookies or cake. As the years took a toll on her and she went to live with Tom, he would bring her over, drop her off for a few hours, Zeta would get a shower, a massage, pedicure or manicure, and then do her hair. Several times I got to take her shopping and out to lunch. She is one of the nicest, most gentle, and giving woman I know. I even heard a story about some pillows she made that said yes and no. Such a serious but very funny lady. I will miss you, but see you again. One of her biggest worries was when she was gone Tom would be alone. Not no more, Congradualation on your marriage to a wonderful woman, just like your Mom. Love you Zeta.
