Our family met Thomas the summer of 2010. What a joy it has been to see him grow from a teen into the wonderful young man he was. Thomas was gentle, solid in his walk and growth in Jesus Christ and encourage those around him to do the same. Here are some words that remind me of Thomas. (T) Teachable "Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for your are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:4-5 (H) Humble "HE has told you, O Man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to o justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8 (O) Obedient "As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior." I Peter 1:14-15 (M) Ministry "Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. But you, be sober in all things, endure hardships, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. II Timothy 4:2,5 (A) Awe Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe." Hebrews 12:28 (S) Salvation The Lord is my light and my Salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; whom shall I dread?" Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trust in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him." Psalm 28:7 These are Bible verses that Thomas demonstrated in his life. I know Thomas would desire all of his family and friends to come to know and love God as he did. This Libby family has been truly blessed to has been a part of his life. We will all greatly miss him. Thankful for all the love, encouragement and prayers he gave to us. We look forward to seeing him again in heaven and rejoice with him praising and worshiping God together.

Thomas was a great man who followed the Lord Jesus Christ with his whole heart. His life focus could be summed up as "love God, love people". I will miss his encouraging words, text messages, and prayers. He was a "spiritual giant" who has impacted my life and will not be forgotten.

My deepest condolences to Thomas' family & to all the lives he touched. Thomas spread the good word to all he encountered, was encouraging & an inspiration. A short description of Thomas ~ “ Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love” (1 Corinthians 16:13-14). It was always so refreshing to see someone in the younger generation truly walking the walk. His faith never wavered & he set good examples in all of his endeavors. Thomas reminded me that life is short & we never know when we will see someone again. Life is miraculous & a precious gift & I will remember to appreciate every moment with people. Instead of saying goodbye, it should be until we meet again. =) Thank you Thomas for your strong faith, compassion & tremendous service!!!!!!!

Thomas had a zeal for the Lord and knowing Him - He put this into practice by showing deep compassion and caring for others. I knew Thomas for just a brief period, but watching him grow at Maywood, witnessing his Eagle Scout ceremony and reading his FB posts as he ventured forth in life living for Yeshua, it was always clear who owned his heart and his love for others. I regret that I will miss ceremonies celebrating Thomas' seemingly brief life - only seemingly because though short in years, he was long in living and embracing life and living his calling.

Thomas radiated god's love from what he did to how he talked or not doing anything at all it just showed. On my second axis/contact camping trip he schooled me in fire making because unlike him I dropped out of boy scouts but he did not rub it in he actually helped me be better at fire making. Thomas was a good listener, good at comic trivia, interesting dresser, a strategic planner, and a great friend . If Thomas went to a costume party in his long coat and said he was the Doctor you would believe him because he always had a screwdriver, three knifes ,a bowling ball in his truck, and who knows what. He literally brought rope to bible study one Tuesday. Some one somewhere just got an awesome guardian angel. We'll miss you Thomas see you later friend.

I taught Thomas in 3rd grade class at Perry. He was a kind and sweet person. I remember him as a bright boy with only kindness to share. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I go to Maywood, and I always sat a couple of rows behind and to the side of Thomas. Even though I did not personally know him, his love for The Lord was so evident. He was always totally engaged in worship and made an impression on all of us. My heart goes out to your family. I was very sad to learn of Thomas's home going. Take comfort in knowing he is happy because he is in the best place ever. However, that does not lessen your loss, I know. Please come to Maywood so we can get to know you and offer comfort.

Thomas was one of the kindest people that I know! He was such an encourager, and a man striving to follow the Lord in all his ways. He was a good friend, and he was a huge blessing to many people, including myself. I was in Maywood's high school youth group with him, as well as Maywood's college group. He was a big part of our college group, and he is already so missed...but I'm so thankful that he is now with our Savior forevermore! I am praying for the family.
