Always enjoyed saying good morning to Mr. White when he stopped at J&D Countryside Marathon for his morning doughnut. I could never bring myself to call him Royal. My heart goes out to all the White family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Gordy, Debbie, and family, I’m very sorry for your loss, and for the difficult time you and he went through toward the end, the memory of which I hope eventually will fade for you and be replaced by happier reminiscences. Although I’ll remember Royal as the builder of the best house my parents ever had, by far, for me Royal's real legacy isn't what he built, but who they raised. I’m sure my Mom agrees; thanks for all you do to help her remain safely in her Royal White home, where she wants to be.
