Obituary

Roger L. Ollmann, 75, of Kingston, died peacefully at Northwoods Care Center in Belvidere, on September 18, 2016. He was born on July 18, 1941 to Roy Jr. and Nelda (Jackson) Ollmann in Belvidere. Roger graduated from Belvidere High School and married his sweetheart, Deborah (Knop) Ollmann on September 20, 1985, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere.

Roger loved antique cars and was a decorated Sharp Shooter for the National Guard. He was a carpenter for many years. Roger was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his spouse, Deborah; his children, Erick (Brandy Wollitz) Clark and Amanda (Tim) Musselman; his mother, Nelda Ollmann; two grandchildren, Aidan Musselman and Jacob Ware; sisters, Lyla Tews, Kim Bush and DeeAnn Grice; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Roy Ollmann Jr.; and a brother, Ralph Ollmann.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1045 Belvidere Rd., Belvidere, IL 61008 with Reverend Allan Buss officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, September 22, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. Burial at Highland Garden of Memories.
