I just saw this and I am incredibly brokenhearted for Miguel's amazing family. Miguel was a supervisor of mine, one of my first and to this day, one of my favorites. I am SO VERY SORRY to learn of his passing. What a kind a wonderful soul he had, so happy and always smiling (just like I remember of his kids Ana and Mikey). Love you all so much! Distance has never been a factor in remembering your family. My deepest and most heartfelt sympathies. Wish I could be there to pay respects.

You made me understand when things where wrong. We laughed when things where funny. We had serious talks about the future, and you began to teach me Spanish. I couldn't have been more blessed to have had you around when I did. Thank you for everything. You will truly be missed! Prayers for your family and friends.

My mother passed away last year on august 9th 2016 a little before school started. Mr. Rodriguez knew this and he would always make it his duty to make me laugh every day cause he knew it was really hard on me cause I was so close to her. I knew he was really sick and in pain but he tried so hard to hide it. He was and still is very brave and will always be missed at my school. When I found out he passed on Tuesday I took it really hard and my heart broke, I miss seeing him in the attendance office so much laughing and making Mrs. Melson laugh so hard you could hear it outside the office. You will be for every missed Mr. Rodriguez and I will not cry because I know you would want me to smile.

I will never forget the tireless efforts Miguel made for others. He made a difference in everyone he met and his kindness was inspirational. I am honored to consider him a dear friend and I will never forget what he did for the students and staff of D200. May he rest in peace and never be forgotten.
