So very sad to see this. I loved having her stop in at our lawn and garden center during the summer spreading her knowledge for all to listen. This wonderful soul will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time of sorrow. With Deepest Sympathy - Kathy Mechler and the Shopko Lawn and Garden Staff

I remember the parties that were had at Pete & Mitzi's house while growing up. The grownup would party upstairs and the kids did the same in the basement. Fond memories. Mitzi was a fun person to be around and she will be missed.

Oh how I will miss Mitzi, my Friday mornings will never be the same. I have done her hair for many years and we had quickly become friends...and she was the bright spot in my week :) She adopted my dog Sophie when I could not give Sophie the attention she deserved and I think Sophie was just what Mitzi needed at that time after just losing Pete. My thoughts and prayers go out to her kids and Grand kids...she sure thought the world of you all as I heard countless stories about her family. Rest in peace Mitzi, you and Pete are together again.
