Oh Grandma,, I am sitting here crying yet again. I know its not what you wanted but I just can't help it. I feel so many emotions. We all miss you! Already! We just have questions (ok, aguements! lol) that only you can solve! I know I can talk with you whenever I want but I sure wish I could hear you talk back to me. I remember having Christmas and birthdays at your house when I was so young! You always spoiled us so much! Me constantly using your phone as a teenage, I also remember you letting me learn to drive with you! When I hit the garage and we hid it from Grandpa and tried to paint it!! lol You tell him now, he probably thought you did it! lol See, now I am smiling and no tears. Ups and downs I guess. Remember cake decorating!! lol Quilt making, crafts, we did so much. I am happy knowing you are home. The home you really wanted to go to. With everyone you have missed for years! I love you so much (tears again)! We will keep this little family close and hopefully have many nights together in the future and remember all those good )and no so good) memories that we have. And I am pretty sure you will be there too! Love you more than you could ever know!!!!

We met Lorene a year or so ago when she came to Tennessee with Sandy Anderson. Wish we could have known her better. A sweet saint of God is now enjoying her heavenly home with her Savior and loved ones gone before. God bless and comfort her family and friends.

Dar: We are sorry to hear about Lorene. It was such a joy to have her in our home last year when she and Sandy came for the quilt show in Paducah and were hoping she would be able to come back again. She was so much fun to go to the quilt show with and had more energy than the rest of us. We were hoping she would be able to come back again for a visit. Prayers and sympathy to you and all the family.

My deepest sympathy to you, Dar, and the family. It's never easy to loose a parent, especially a mother. The love between a mother and daughter is so special. Keep all of those wonderful moments and memories, close to your heart. Your mother was a wonderful, caring and loving person. She will be missed by so many people. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. {{Hugs}} My dad (Francis Walker) also sends his deepest sympathy. Our parents were good neighbors for many, many years. The 'old neighborhood' has changed so much. Prayers for peace and comfort, Dar.

Dar I know how much you will miss your Mom. Habits of calling or going to see her are things that will make you feel empty at times. I know your pain and it never really goes away but think of all the good times. Even tho it's been so long I still remember your Mom and how good she was to all. Thinking of you at this difficult time.

I will never look at a quilt or strawberry shortcake without thinking of you. I will miss you and your laughter, Remembering where we were just one year ago trying to keep up with you in Paducah, Ky at the quilt show. Challenging you to buy more fabric and start yet another quilt,.And you got 12 done to my three - all for those great grands and then you told me you were taking a break, I look back now and just felt like you had accomplished your mission. Meeting you over 50 years ago at church where you tauaght our daughters and many others in Sunday School at OBC, Connecting through the quilt group and sharing many trips to quilt shops to get MORE fabric through rain, sleet and snow - "our driving skills" questionable when we were rolling backwards down a hill in Branson or at the top of a mountain and couldn't get back down in Eureka. Those trips through the years are full of good memories and you tossing the GSP in the backseat as YOU knew the way! You were an encourager and loved Jesus and pracriced what you preached, You were sunshine when there was rain - laughter when there were tears, You were like my second Mom and you would go anywhere as long as there was FOOD! You loved and adored your family as they did you and Gramma night was always a joy and full house for you. When Ken died suddenly you were there for me - always a prayer warrior and encourager, We all are going to miss you,, I weep with your family at this time yet know you aer finally home, The quilts you pieced and I handquilted I will cherish even more. I will miss our Sunday nite "taco belling." You were an inspiration to everyone you knew, Remember what I told you a long time ago - "If you get to heaven before I do - dig a hole and pull me through,." You and Ross were a blessing to me and my family, Always in my Heart and never to be forgotten, I'm sure you will find Ross and Ken setting on a bench - waiting on their women just as they did in Paducah. "one good friend sharpen another - Proverbs 27:17. See you soon,
