Ole had a smile on his face every day that he worked at North Boone, and he loved to tease me all the time. One of my favorite memories is the time we bought him a cake for his birthday, and put a candle for every year of his age. That was a lot of candles! The principal wouldn't let us actually light the candles in the building, so Ole just pretended he was blowing them out and made a wish. He was truly a treasure and will never be forgotten by those of us who had the privilege of getting to know him. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
