Belvidere, ILJoann Page, 80, of Davenport, IA and formerly of Belvidere, IL went home to her Lord and Savior and to join the love of her life, Steve, peacefully early Friday morning, August 16, 2013 in Country Manor, Davenport. Joann was born March 8, 1933 in Madison, Wisconsin the daughter of William and Henrietta (May) Ramsey. Joann married Steven Charles Page, Sr. and was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed raising and nurturing her family. Joann and Steven enjoyed traveling in their motor home; she was a Sunday school teacher and an Awanas leader; she was also a witness to all ages and walks of life through her spiritual and motherly nurturing. To Know Her Was To Love Her. She welcomed all into her home, her heart and her station wagon; the more the merrier was her philosophy. Joann is loved and will be missed by her loving children; Betty (Mike) John of Elkhorn WI, Sylvia (Steve) Brandenburg of Lewistown MT, Steve(Karen McCauley) Page Jr. Garden Prairie IL, Janet (Frank Vara)) Graves-Delavan, WI, Roseanne (Bobby) Williamson-Davenport IA, Harry Page-Belvidere IL, Jeanie Daigle-Skokie, IL, David (Teresa) Page-Atlanta, GA, Phil (Doreen ) Page-Hampton, GA, Jim Page-Loganville GA, Tom (Brenda) Page-Belvidere IL; brothers, Fred (Mary) Ramsey, Kenneth (Kim) Ramsey, Donald (Ann) Ramsey, David (Karen) Ramsey, Phillip Schiffer; sister, Karen (Joe) Maskasky; 26 cherished grandchildren, 21 loving great grandchildren with another on the way; 1 great-great grandchild.Joann is preceded in death by her husband; parents, step-mother Elda Ramsey; sister , Marie; brothers Winton, George and David.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, IL with Rev. Wayne Rhode of Grace Church, Walworth, WI officiating. Burial in Highland Garden of Memories. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
