I have fond memories of Jim (Moose) from Marengo High School. Although we lost track of each other as life moved on, I'll always remember the crazy poker games our group of guys had during those years, Jim's outstanding creativity in shop class, and his athletic ability in football. Rest in peace, Jim.

I met Jim almost 40 years ago when we both worked at Cherry Valley Tool. He was always quick to smile and laugh. He shared his knowledge of so many things with me and for that I am truly grateful. He shared how proud he was of his family many times with me. There was always that twinkle in his eyes when he mentioned his children and grandchildren. Although I hadn't seen Jim in several years as friends I realize we would have picked up right where we left off. He was a man of honor and integrity and not a better friend could I ever have. My prayers and thoughts are with his family in the hopes that God gives them strength and courage in the coming days
