I remember Evelyn as a veteran teacher making me feel so welcome to Lincoln. I also enjoyed talking to her about her family when we attended Lincoln get togethers. Such a warm friendly person. I regret that I will be out of state for the services.

We shared many a cup of coffee, breakfasts and lunches with our good friend Evelyn. We will miss her friendship, her Minnesota humor, playing cards, and just plain old neighboring. We know she is in a better place and is once again with Delmar. I'm sorry we can't be there with you John, Debbie, James, Leslie & Max. Our hearts go out to you. Love, Vicki & Dean Edwards

When I was just starting out as a young pastor, I boarded in Evelyn's basement suite. She was such a wonderful person, full of life, joy and humor. At the age of 72 we recruited her as a junior high leader for the Shiloh Evangelical Free Church, and she was one of the best ones we ever had! We even got her to join us on tobogganing day at Aldeen Park. I remember her cookies, her smile, her laughter, and her deep faith in Christ. Grace and peace to all of you who had been touched by her life. Greg Drummond, Halifax, NS, Canada
