We are so sorry to hear of the passing of one the nicest guys ever. Many memories of softball games come flooding back. May he rest in peace.

Dale and my Mother were in the same nursing home and often sat together for lunch, where Nancy and I would discuss the ups and downs of the days. I could usually get Dale to smile with my stories of my feeble attempts at a golf game; always ending badly, which would bring a smile to the corner of his eyes. I was blessed to have known both he and Nancy. My Mother passed away just one month before. May the God who loves us all so deeply continue to strengthen and sustain Nancy and the family in the days to come. God bless you all. ~ Diane Robinson

Dale will always be remembered as a fine person. Growing up together, sharing so many interests, playing sports toghether for decades....sharing life's mysteries and pleasures. It was truly an honor to have shared all that with a person as fine as Dale.

I consider myself fortunate to have been friends with Dale for many years. We shared good times at softball, Belvidere football, cards, and golf. I'll always remember when he got a double Eagle! He was a good friend with a warm smile and a ready laugh. He will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to Nancy and the family.

So sorry for your loss. Dale was across the hall from my sister, Karen Schrader, so I stopped in a couple of times to see him as well. I will always remember his smiling face.
