I am so sad that I am just now seeing that Val has passed away. My kids used to bowl with her at Dodge Lanes in junior high. She was a sweet young lady. She would sit with me and we would draw and color. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Valerie participated in our program at Rolling Hills Progress Center in Lanark for the past several years and only stopped because of Covid. She loved to work, visit with friends and enjoyed all of our programs and activities. She was very sweet and loved by everyone. She will be missed.

So sorry for your loss. Val will be missed by many. I used to work at NASR and remembered seeing Val always with a smile on her face. Thinking of you all during this time

Val has been missed and will be just as much going forward. She was a member of our Church Family and she had a big heart to share. It was nice to hear her singing. Your family will be in our prayers for God’s peace.

Katie will miss Val so much! Losing a friend at such a young age is tough. We were so happy to have an outside visit with Val in Freeport before she was moved to Rockford. She was a dear friend and will be forever missed. Prayers to her family.
