Obituary

Tammy Cooper- Keeney, 38, of Belvidere, Illinois, died peacefully August 29. 2019 in Belvidere. She was born on February 26, 1981, to Thomas Cooper and Dorothy Winter in Carpetnersville, Illinois.  Tammy married her sweetheart, Terry Keeney, August 20, 2011 in Belvidere. She was a high school graduate and worked as a personal assistant for the families of special needs.

Tammy loved bowling and was in a bowling league throughout high school. She loved to collect angels and was a huge Nascar fan! Tammy also loved going to the Rockford Speedway. She helped to build  demolition cars and was part of the Boone County Demolition Derby.

Tammy will be loved and missed by her husband, Terry;  daughter, Destiny Cooper- Petrie; and father and step-mother, Thomas and Mary Cooper.

She is preceded in death by mother, Dorothy Cooper; and brother, Randy Cooper.

A visitation will be from 1 to 2:45 p.m. Friday, September 6th, at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 West Hurlbut Avenue, Belvidere, IL.  A graveside service to follow at Belvidere Cemetery. Tammy was a great best friend to me we stood side by side each other through high school I will never forget the laughes and smiles she had or at times the craziness 😂❤️ her memories will always live on in me always in my heart forever how I miss her so much 💔😭

Tammy was a loving wife and mother and a good daughter in law Tammy like to bowl and go to cranberry festival with her family Tammy was one in 1 million person she was kind and generous to everyone she will sadly be missed

Tammy was lovely and caring person i loved her with all my heart amd she put her daughter frist before anything . I would make sure she had every thing she wanted before me. She cared about people who loved her and tried to help them as much ad she could so I love you very much and i miss you alot i look out the window to see if you are coming up the drive so once again i love you and always love and the angles are looking down on me just like you would i l loo ve you and miss you a lot😭👼👼👼👼👼
