Tammy Ann Ogle, 55, of Rockford, IL passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018. Born May 20,1963 in Rome, NY, the daughter of Jack Gaylor and Elizabeth Higbee. She married Fred Ogle on February 14, 2012, in Burleson, TX., but have been life long partners for over twenty years. Tammy was a Certified Nurse Assistant and worked as a Medical Assistant/License Practitioner Nurse for Carlson Orthopedics for a number of years. Tammy loved God, talking with people about God, suntanning on the beach and being on the water. She made her spiritual home at City First Church in Rockford, IL

She is loved and will be missed by her husband, Fred Ogle; father, Jack Gaylor; mother; Elizabeth (Artt) Higbee; daughter, Chrystal Cox; grandchildren, Elijah Shurley, Gabriel Sebright, Lily Vaughan, Ava Vaughan; sisters Janet Gaylor, Cindy Gaylor, Angela Gaylor, Jan Finn as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandparents.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at City First Church, 5950 Spring Creek Road, Rockford, IL 61114. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. till 10:45 a.m., prior to service. Pastor Lance Vistine will officiate. Burial will take place at New Milford Cemetery.  Memorials can be given to the Veterans, Fraternal Order of Police, Jayce Meters Ministries and St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Tammy’s memory.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.  To light a candle or share a condolence please visit

I remember Tammy as a woman that trusted the Lord , loved to worship and pray, and feel His presence this is the best thing in life .
