Suzanne Pauline Gritzmacher, 88, of Belvidere, IL died peacefully in Belvidere, August 28, 2022. She was born November 23, 1933, in Garden Prairie, IL, daughter to Paul and Mildred (Conkling) Porter. She graduated high school and worked at O’Brien & Dobbins pharmacy in Belvidere as a cashier for many years. Suzanne was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary where she volunteered as a cook, along with volunteering at St. Joseph Hospital in Belvidere.

Suzanne is loved and will be missed by her daughter, Lori Anderson; son, Mark ( Kathy) Gritzmacher; grandchildren, Rob Anderson, Eric Gritzmacher; 2 great- grandchildren, Kaymyn and Trey Anderson; and special friend of over 70 years, Marianne Swanson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Gov Porter; brothers, Paul, Rex and Joey.
