Sharon Ann Hall, 72, of Belvidere, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, Thursday, August 23, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born September 9, 1945 in Rockford, IL, daughter of Albert and Verna Young. She graduated from Belvidere High School in 1964 and would marry the love of her life Jerry Hall on August 7, 1965 in Zion Lutheran Church. Sharon enjoyed puzzles, crosswords, jigsaws, cardinals, and playing video poker. Sharon loved attending her grandchildren’s activities and spending time with family. She always put everyone’s needs first and loved hosting holiday dinners with her family. She made her spiritual home at Zion Lutheran Church in Belvidere, where she volunteered in numerous organizations.

Sharon is loved and missed by her husband, Jerry; children, Gene Hall, Jeff (Donna) Hall; grandchildren, Jacob, Emily, Ryan, Amber; great-grandchild, Jaxon; brother, Gary (Laura) Young as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1300 Pearl St., Belvidere, IL 61008 with Rev. Scott Stolberg officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation services, 218 W Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, IL 61008. Burial in Highland Garden of Memories. Memorial may be made to the family for a charity to be named later. To light a candle or share a condolence please visit
