After my parents died, both Bob and Barb took me under their wing. They sent financial support to help me through college and supported me once I became a music educator by coming to my concerts. I loved our visits and I am confident that my parents are singing and dancing with him right now. Thank you for the memories, Mr. Grimes. I will cherish the jazz records you gave me. Bob was a dear soul and stayed in touch with me throughout his lifetime, always cheerful and full of family news. He never missed my birthday until this May 17.. his mother, Evelyn, and my father Richard Church were first cousins. My condolences to Christine and Linda and your families. Praise to a life well lived.
