I was saddened to learn of Bob’s death from Lohman Catron. Bob and my husband, Jim Hoines were best of friends, Bob was the first kid Jim met when he moved to Belvidere and ended up winning the state doubles championship. I had a beer with Bob 6 years ago and so enjoyed that visit. RIP Bob.

When I looked at the creek today, it reminded me of your passion for fishing and all of the times you passed by on your golf cart with your fishing pole of course. God Bless, Helen and your family.

Dearest brother and a great smile is one way I will remember my brother, Robert, when he was teasing me about something. Most irritating was calling me BOOBOO. Why ? Just to get a reaction out of me! He did!
His first car was a little black Rambler. Back in the day, LOL, he worked for Maynard’s gas station. Now remember this is a long time ago………….he told me what he didn’t like was working in a downpour and having teens come in and get 25 Cents worth of gas.
I took that as a pay back for giving me the nickname!
All in all, we got along. I will miss him. We shared family sorrows and good times. Tears of love, Bob…..give Mom a kiss and play ball w/Al.
I love you, Bert
