Post a Condolence

As a fellow graduate of Bob in the class of 1969 I was really surprised to hear of his passing away so suddenly. As what usually happens, it seems like after graduation time slips away and it becomes so easy to loose touch as the years go by. I seldom saw Bob much after graduation but remembering him from High School Days he was a great classmate and very easy going guy. Rest in peace Bob I know you will be missed by many, many classmates and friends as well as your family.

Our condolences to Bob’s Family. We always enjoyed conversing with Bob when he would come into the store. He was always a gentleman with a smile on his face. Your loss is certainly Heaven’s gain.

I’d like to think my Uncle Robert gave to me my beginnings of being a wisenheimer(German smart-ass). Thanks for all the laughs and love you gave to me and to whoever you touched with your wit and wisdom and making the world a little bit better just for you being you. 😢😢

Irony has always been the smile
When the smile I needed it
Though this irony gives no smiles
No it will only give you fits
Pondering yet the ironies of life
Through in all its hidden spaces
The kind that tears but from you
All the laughs and smiling faces
What makes you march through death
To appreciate what offers us of life
Cuts you to the bone with loneliness
Whilst you thought love held the knife
Bamboozles you in to believing
You’ve got nothing left but time
To repair life’s delicate bondings
Yet to re-tie those ties that bind
As days and months drift away
Tricking us to think we’ve aged
Till once you lose that part of you
That has barely turned the page
That empty you feel in your heart is real
Once you believe that pain to cease
To the ironies that scar us deep
To the ironies of peace.

I’ll miss you Uncle Robert. 😢☮
