My sympathy Bev to you and your family. Just remember all the wonderful 66 years you and Gene had together raising your children, and enjoying your times at Lake Mills, attending church gatherings, and wonderful times with friends. May you find comfort and peace in the days ahead and may God bless you and your wonderful family.

So very sorry to read of Gene’s passing. I knew him as our mailman at the bank. He always had a smile on his face and was so upbeat every day. Stephanie, I am so thankful my family and I had a chance to see your performance in Branson too. My heart and prayers are with all of you. Gene was a huge blessing to all who knew him.

Dear Bev and family,
Mom and I wanted to express our heartfelt condolences to you and your family. We are grateful for the memories we have of some of the trips to Branson you and Gene made and we were talking about the time we all went to Big Cedar Lodge that summer and watched the fireworks. Gene was a kind and wonderful man and we know what losing a man like him means to his family. Our hearts and love are with you all. May God keep each of you close in his love and may your memories of his wonderful life give peace and comfort to you in the days ahead. We love you all.

Dear Bev and family, I wanted to send love and prayers for your loss of Gene. I remember seeing him sometimes at Woodman’s shopping in his motorized cart. Even though I don’t go to the Baptist Church anymore [I live in Rockford since my husband died in 2005], I remember happy and blessed times at the church. May the Lord bless you with love and comfort as you grieve your special loved loved one. Janice Bowley Huff.
