So sorry to hear of Aunt Margie’s passing. I have so many memories of her as I was growing up. She was the best aunt and a lot of fun. She taught me how to sew and use a sewing machine when I was probably not more than 10 years old. I remember her beautiful picture when she graduated from nursing school and how happy she was when Uncle Richard came home from the service. We all spent every Sunday after church together as a family at Grandma Brown’s house and every Xmas Eve night. Both my Aunt and Uncle were very special people to me growing up and made my childhood fun that left me with great memories to treasure!!

Margaret & Richard were the best neighbors and friends, the Bakers could have ever had, always willing to lend a helping hand whenever a neighbor was in need. She will be be surely missed. We pray that God has welcomed her home.

Your mother, sister, grandmother was truely a kind, gentle and loving person. I am so sorry she is gone. I have many memories but 2 come vividly to mind. As told to me by my mother, Mildred Ferry, she was in labor on Nov 13,1946 with her 1st child and Dr. Linden was late for the delivery. Nurses then were instructed to hold the baby back for the Dr. to deliver. Margaret was 1 of the nurses that day and she calmly and decisively delivered my 10# brother Steven Ferry. She probably saved him from any brain damage and certainly made my mother’s traumatic delivery more endurable. My mother was always grateful to her for that day. The 2nd memory is with my 1st child, Michelle. We were visiting the farm in Aledo and Shelley was about 3 & wanted to pound a nail into a board. 1st time mom that I was I was afraid she would hurt herself. Margaret put her hand gently on my arm and said “Janet, sometimes you just have to look the other way and let them figure it our for themselves.” Wise words from a wise woman. I remember them often and have put them in practice many times. Thank you Margaret. She will be missed. My love to you all, Janet Ferry Loomis

When your Mom lived near Perryton, I did her hair. I have thought about her often and wondered if she was still alive. I really enjoyed visiting with her when I did her hair. I am so sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. In the short time I cared for Margaret at the Winnebago lab she really grew on me. She would just brighten my day when she came in. We had some nice talks. She will be missed by me for sure.
