Karen R. Busch, 65, of Cherry Valley, passed away peacefully, Monday, January 29, 2018 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 25, 1952 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edmond and Rose Kraft. Karen married Donald Busch on November 14, 1981 in Las Vegas at the Famous Little White Chapel. Karen and Don lived their lives “Forever in Blue Jeans”. Karen was foremost a devoted mother, making sure her kids were always taken care of, if it were tending to sick children or those long phone conversations, listening to life issues, she always helped you through it. Karen enjoyed shopping, bowling, and collecting dolls. She was known for having a sweet tooth. Karen enjoyed riding her bike and taking walks.
Karen is loved and missed by her husband, Donald; her mother, Rose (Jack Campbell) Kraft; her children, Tammy (James) Colver, Tracy (Edward) Tsikretsis, and Michael (Amber) Busch; eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; siblings, Steve (Dorothy) Kraft, Debbie Kraft, Christine Lewis; and five nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Edmond.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 2, 2018 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services, 218 W. Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Anderson Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Allan Buss officiating. Entombment in Highland Garden of Memories.
