Our deepest sympathy to Ed, Rick, and families. I remember many days on the farm, Sally as the pet cow just sticks in my head as a clear memory. As well as remembering Pete was so nice all the time very upbeat person. Milking cows, putting up hay and hanging out in the pit. A lot of good memories. RIP Pete.

Dear Ed & Rich,
I sang with your parents in choir for 18 years and God’s Children gospel group for 7 years – we had a great relationship, I also sang at your mother’s funeral with the choir members. They were wonderful friends. I loved the get togethers out at the farm. God bless all of you. Sincerely, Lyn Pingle and husband Bob

We miss Pete. Judy and I sang in the choir with Pete for most of those years. We can remember very lovingly Pete and Joyce singing the beautiful duet “The King of Love My Shepherd Is”. They did a great job with the song and it will always remain with me.

Our sincere sympathies to Pete’s family. It was a joy and honor to serve with Pete for many years in both the choir and United Methodist Men at Belvidere First United Methodist church. It is comforting to know he is back with his beloved wife Joyce and singing together again in heaven.

I had the pleasure of knowing Pete and Joyce through FUMC Belvidere. Glory Boersma and I were on the Visitation Team, and would visit Pete and Joyce during the time she was not able to get out. Pete would often seek me out at church to give me a hug and chat. He was such a kind man, and he loved his family and his church. God has gained another angel. I miss you, Pete.

I grew up listening to your father and mother sing duets at church. Any time I think of the old building I immediately hear his voice. I also sang in the choir with him and directed the choir, listening to his strong tenor voice. He has earned his eternal rest, and I’m sure God has said “ Well done my good and faithful servant.”
