My condolences to the Bounds family for the loss of their matriarch Doris. I personally did not know her or cannot recall meeting her but I was in school with her son Don and ahead of him at BHS by a couple of years. If he is an example of her being a mother guiding him she has to take a back seat to no one as he is an outstanding individual and I am sure his siblings are.

My Grandma is special! Although I didn’t get a chance to see her much in my adult life, the memories from my childhood are lasting. Grandma cared for her grandchildren deeply. She always made sure our bellies were full, including her homemade cherry pies and raspberry jam. I loved playing all the board/card games with her. My favorite was Flinch. She will be missed very much along with Grandpa, but I’m glad neither one is suffering any longer and are celebrating together in Heaven!
