Post a Condolence

As a young Marine Lieutenant in Pensacola Florida recovering from an airplane crash, Captain Claude took us under his “wing” and made a huge difference in what was a tumultuous time in our lives.

In many ways, he to us, he was an angel, literally. Blessings and prayers for Billye and their family.

I remember Claude so fondly as a Golden Apple Foundation volunteer. He was so incredibly dedicated and would sign up to observe as many teachers as he could. He was a true public servant. My deepest sympathies to Billye. I know how much he loved you. He always spoke of you with such love and admiration. Peace to you all who learn to navigate this world without him. Sincerely, Lori

My deepest sympathy to Ms. Billye and the whole family. I met Mr. Claude working at the soup kitchen with 2nd/1st Church 6 years ago – a day I will never forget – he gave me a run for my money working with him at that dessert table! I really had the best time and from then on we would always find each other to chat on Sundays. He was so proud of his family and loved to tell stories about all of you. I will really miss seeing him and joking with him at church. You are all in my thoughts.

I met Claude and his wife when our church congregations joined. Claude and I shared the same day for our birthdays and we joked about that.
My sympathy to the family for your loss and may he Rest In Peace.
