I had the pleasure of working with Bernie in the Section of Cardiology at Rush Medical Center. She was knowledgeable, steadfast and kind. I especially appreciated her compassion and encouragement during a difficult personal time. God’s Peace to all who love and miss her.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bernie but it was for a short time. But in those few months she taught me the true meanings of humble, giving and humility. She lived a very simple and modest life and seemed to care more about others than herself. She is the only woman, in my life, that I have know that wanted more for others than for herself. A special human indeed. Bernie will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all…especially Jane. You were a “sister” to her in every way. Bernie knew she was loved. Passing so suddenly is always very sad…While I know she is at peace and grateful that she knows no more pain…her passing leaves a void for all who knew her. Love you Bernie…

Sincere condolences to the family. I have known Bernie since 1976, when I first came to Rush, and we worked together for 17 years. Even after I left, she and Cathy and I would periodically get together. She was a very special person. Kind, quiet, compassionate. I knew her health was failing these past few years. I’m grateful she had a loving family to help her. She’s in God’s loving arms and I know I’ll see her again.

My deepest condolences to the Mosinski Family. May God Bless you, Jane and Kristin, for your wonderful care of her during these last difficult years.
Bernie was a person with a huge heart, great strength of character, and an amazing ability to persevere in the face of hardship, all wrapped up in a tiny frame. I’ll always remember our pre-GPs road trips with Bernie as navigator; we would never get lost (as long as we stayed in Chicago!). I will miss you Dear Friend. Rest peacefully in God’s loving arms until we meet again for another road trip on that heavenly highway.

To Kristin, Jane and the family. My condolences to you on Bernie’s passing. It was a shock as I spoke to her 2 weeks ago and was planning on visiting in January. She was a wonderful person and always looked forward to our visits. She did not drive but could navigate anywhere in the city. She did always show interest in my family.

My whole life, she was there. She took interest in everything I did and was always so excited when we visited. I’m blessed to have had her in my life. She was my angel on earth and now she’s my angel in heaven. ♥️
